Instead, it tries to redefine the person who spoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter how long you served. It doesn\u2019t matter what you contributed. It doesn\u2019t matter how respectfully you left. If what you say threatens the narrative, the response is predictable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discredit.\u202fDismiss.\u202fDe\u2011humanize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me show you how that has played out for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I Actually Said<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When I resigned from O.T.O. I did not name names, leak private rituals, or attack individual members. I simply described patterns I had observed over eleven years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Emotional pressure and triangulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal loyalty trumping transparency and ethics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal relationships trumping policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overreach into members\u2019 private lives, relationships, and events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A paranoid culture that rewards people informing on one another<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And tolerance of threatening and abusive behavior<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I offered testimony, which is backed up by documentation, and I invited corrections. No one disputed a single fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The System&#8217;s Response<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since going public about my resignation, I\u2019ve received a steady stream of private messages\u2014some encouraging, others angry or condescending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But behind the scenes, I\u2019ve also learned of internal leadership discussions in which my name, my personal non-OTO work, and my character were attacked.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deeply personal spiritual experiences that I shared with people I thought were friends have been passed along to national leaders, who then use this information to openly ridicule me among the rank and file.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not only an example of malicious slander. It is also an example of the surveillance culture I described in a <a href=\"https:\/\/lapis-mercurii.org\/lvx\/this-is-what-spiritual-control-looks-like\/\" title=\"This is what spiritual control looks like\">previous video<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My resignation has been dismissed as vanity.\u00a0I have been accused of attempting to profit off my association with OTO.\u00a0And even second-hand diagnoses about my mental health have been circulated as fact.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I won\u2019t name my sources. They fear harm\u2014and in my opinion, they should.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s what I can say with confidence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My departure was not treated as an opportunity for reflection or growth.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was treated as a threat.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And rather than address the concerns I raised, <em>the system<\/em> began to attack me personally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That is not a bug in the system. It\u2019s a feature. It\u2019s what high-control groups do. And it\u2019s exactly the pattern I had already warned about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discredit. Dismiss. Dehumanize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If an organisation\u2019s first instinct is to character assassinate a former lodge master who served for more than a decade, imagine the risk for members with no title or platform. The message is clear: speak up and expect coordinated defamation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So this video is not about revenge. It\u2019s about transparency, so others who notice the same issues know they\u2019re not alone and not &#8220;crazy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognizing the Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The moment you stop playing along, labels appear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8220;unstable&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;bitter&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;dramatic&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Often from the same people who not even 30 days ago thought you were a person of integrity and character. You have to ask: <em>What changed?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s an old script designed to distract from the questions you asked. But the pattern is becoming visible, and once you see it, you can\u2019t un\u2011see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not about me. I did not resign out of ego. I resigned because the patterns I have observed are incompatible with my sense of right and wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember the patterns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This way if it happens to you, you will know you were never alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Closing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If telling the truth creates controversy, perhaps the problem isn\u2019t the truth\u2011teller\u2014perhaps it\u2019s what the truth reveals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not here to destroy anyone\u2019s faith. I\u2019m here to name what\u2019s broken, so those experiencing the same dissonance know they have options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for listening.
